It’s your Life to Live

It’s your Life to Live is a Driving Awareness/Information presentation. It shows statistical information that supports the fact that motor vehicle incidents are the number one cause of death from age 4 to 34, brain injuries, and spine injuries. This presentation explores how and why incidents happen.

Towing Light Utility Trailers

Advantage Fleet Services Inc. (AFSI) has created a complete Towing Light Utility Trailer Course specifically developed for clients who utilize light trailers in their business. This program meets WorkSafe regulation requirements as each individual training module was developed from the OEM manual specific to that piece of equipment. AFSI has built this course in such a way that organizations can have the course customized to meet their specific needs.

Pre/Post Trip Inspection

This course consists of a classroom and practical application session. Upon completion of this half day course participants will understand how the law relates to a pre-trip inspection and how the pre-trip inspection is an integral part of the paper trail and dove tails into due diligence. Participants will learn the requirements to satisfy the inspection, when to submit inspection reports, and what law enforcement looks for.

On-Scene Collision Investigation & Data Collection

When a company vehicle is involved in a motor vehicle incident it is imperative that the organization looks after its own best interests. While the police and insurance companies’ complete investigations for their purposes, your business concerns are not their primary concern. This course teaches the driver the key elements of what and how to collect information at a collision scene.

National Safety Code (NSC)

The National Safety Code (NSC) is the compliance standard for the management of fleets, both nationally and provincially. All fleets require a safety certificate to operate and this certificate is obtained through the Provincial authority of NSC.

Hours of Service

Hours of Service (HOS) will allow participants to: understand the law (Div 37 MVAR) relating to Nation Safety Code (NSC) HOS rules, ensure drivers do not violate the HOS rules and get mandatory rest time, and learn to keep accurate records providing a required paper trail showing compliance.
