Grant Aune

Grant was an RCMP officer for 24 years, specializing as a Collision Reconstructionist, dealing with commercial vehicles. He has been declared an “expert” by the courts regarding motor vehicle collisions and the professional standards for commercial drivers. Grant is a motivating keynote speaker with a passion to improve the behaviour and skills of all drivers.
Ted Huene

Ted became an Associate with Advantage Fleet Services in 2002 with more than 50 years of experience in the commercial transportation industry. Ted’s extensive knowledge and experience has allowed him to develop an Equipment Operator Training program for a large municipality. Ted’s expertise throughout the transportation industry makes him a very valuable member of our team.
Terry Betts
Associate
Terry has been working with Advantage Fleet Services since 2007. Terry’s experience working for the RCMP as an operational police officer, tasked with traffic law enforcement and crash investigation, exposed him to the day to day situations that occur in that environment.
Chris Gauvin
Associate
Chris joined advantage in 2008. He is a Collision Analyst/Reconstructionist and police officer, has testified in court as an expert witness and has taken professional courses/seminars all over North America. Chris brings with him a varied instructional background, organizational skills as a course facilitator and is a member of CATAIR and INCR.
Jean-Yves Poirier
Associate
Jean-Yves has been working with AFSI since 2013. He is fluent in both English and French and has experience in labor relations. Jean-Yves has had some personal experience with vehicle incidents and has a passion for teaching young and old the key fundamentals to keep in control and safe when driving and operating equipment.
Bob Reed
Associate
Bob Reed is passionate about road safety due to his impressive 32-year career with RCMP. He spent many years working for various Municipal Traffic Sections throughout the Lower Mainland which included work related to traffic law enforcement and collision investigation. He retired from the RCMP in 2014 and began working with Advantage in March 2019. Bob’s passion and experience for road safety is an incredible asset to our organization and our clients.
Marc Alexander
Associate
Marc is a Collision Reconstructionist and retired RCMP officer with 35+ years experience. He was the first RCMP trained as a Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) Inspector in Canada and holds a Class 1 and 6 driver’s licence. This extensive experience and know-how is responsible for his strong commitment to vehicle, driver and organizational safety.
Mark Janes
Associate
Mark joined Advantage in the Fall of 2022 after 29 years as an RCMP officer. During his seven years on highway patrol, Mark gained extensive experience investigating and handling collision investigations. As a skilled presenter with a desire to improve road safety through training and education, Mark is a great addition to our team.
Rick Viventi
Associate
Rick recently retired after 38 years in corporate management at one of BC’s private transportation and logistics companies. He joined Advantage to continue to offer his expertise in all aspects of NSC regulatory compliance; workers compensation and injury management; and occupational health and safety management systems.
Melissa Currie
Chief Operating Officer
Melissa became the Executive Assistant with Advantage Fleet Services in 2009. She prepares content and materials for our associates to conduct their training and provide services, as well as running the “day-to-day” operations of the company. She is an amazing asset helping everyone to do their work through her organizational prowess and dedication to the company’s pursuits.
Wendy Aune
Communications Manager
Wendy is part of the AFSI management team. She facilitates internal training and works externally with clients regarding our attendance at conferences and other speaking engagements. Wendy is the liaison for the high school presentation “It’s Your Life to Live.” Wendy also manages our Eastern Canada Branch office.
